New Luna Series

Pendulums in my Luna Series were charged and created during the new moon or the full moon. This enhances the metaphysical properties of the stones and aids you in your divining.

The Tempest ~
While charging these pendulum under the New Moon a great thunderstorm developed. The elemental energy was amazing! There was lightening (fire), wind (air), rain (water), and mountains (earth). I was able to capture an image of the lightening from my studio as seen in the photo.

I am on the hunt!

Does that statement conjure images of elusive big game and expansive African vistas.  If you were looking for a new camera bag it would!  Why is it so difficult to find a stylish camera bag at a reasonable price.  I want a bag that doesn't scream "camera inside...steal me!!!" and "boring, are you talking to me?"  I bet Ansel Adams never had this problem.

Well keeping with my safari theme, I will probably order this one.

Buy it here

I like the vintage look, all the pockets for extra goodies, and the fact that I can wear it as a backpack or across my body over one shoulder.  Plus if I ask the hubby to carry it he won't die of embarrassment.

Now if I could only find a Pith helmet I would be set!

Camera Hostage Released

I am happy to announce that the hostage from last months Camera Kidnapping has been released and is safely back home.  The hostage was released on August 2, when the ransom demand of a new Nikon slr camera was handed over to the kidnapper.  The kidnapper has since been spotted with the camera but officials have yet to identify her due to the camera always covering her face.  If you spot this individual, please stay very still and smile!

Many thanks to my wonderful clients and my loving family who helped me purchase my first slr camera.  I love you guys!!  And yes there will be lots of photos, so make sure you combed your hair!!

Playing tourist...

Last week Mom and I decided to visit the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center here in Albuquerque.  We had lunch in the Pueblo Harvest Cafe which has a fantastic view of the Sandia Mountains.  I ordered the chicken quasadilla...very yummy!!  We then paid admission to the museum ($4 for New Mexico residents!).

Dancers from the Nambe tribe performed in the courtyard.  I am not sure how they could stand the heat, but it was fantastic to watch.

Nambe Dancers

After the performance we explored the museum.  There was wonderful pottery, artwork, historical artifacts, and a nice gift shop.  We had a great time!!  (Plus the air conditioning was heavenly!!!!)  If you are ever in the Albuquerque area it is worth a visit.

What have you discovered recently in your town?
